TIS TECHNOLOGY DEPLOYMENT
SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES
1. Planning Phase
TIS engineers establish a plan and course of action for the execution of all supply chain processes including:
- A detailed project schedule. Budget constraints and critical milestones are identified.
- An agreed-upon deployment strategy, pilot plan, and all logistical requirements.
- A detailed statement of work.
- The design, performance, and documentation of site surveys.
- Equipment, materials, and component needs.
- Human resource requirements and staffing levels.
- Business processes, project dependencies and training requirements.
- Additional planning, design, engineering, and consulting services as required.
2. Sourcing Phase
TIS sourcing, materials, and logistics experts identify, select, and schedule all sources of supply.
- Identify sourcing needs in keeping with master project plan.
- Apply TIS technology domain expertise to identify alternate materials, and lower cost options.
- Identify, vet and select suppliers.
- Schedule equipment and material deliveries.
- Assist customer with appropriate financing options.

Today's enterprise depends heavily on a wide spectrum of emerging technologies - Voice over Internet Protocol, Wireless LAN's, Self Service Kiosks, IP Video Surveillance, Digital Signage - to process, share, and track ever-increasing amounts of information. These technologies, in turn, call for the design, engineering, and deployment of complex technology infrastructures. Effective planning as well as efficient execution of literally hundreds if not thousands of process steps is fundamental to on-time, on-budget, and risk-free deployments. In other words, the technology deployment supplier must possess core competencies across the entire Supply Chain of processes to ensure successful execution.
TIS has the people, processes, facilities, systems, tools and, most of all, a customer-oriented culture that ensures mastery over every stage and process of the Technology Deployment Supply Chain. The upshot is an uninterrupted record of successful installations in countless customer settings, many times, under very demanding project timelines.
As a true Supply Chain Partner, TIS becomes part of the fabric of a customer's project. It is through this close collaborative relationship that TIS' contribution to the customer's project can be maximized. TIS engineers and project management experts assist the customer in crafting a comprehensive plan of action, contrasting and comparing the plan to their experiences in similar settings. TIS domain expertise in network technologies, as well as other technical areas, many times affords the Company the opportunity to recommend design changes that result in better system performance, longer asset life, or reduced cost.

The TIS advantage-the industry's fastest, most accurate deployments-is achieved through careful planning and execution. Automated configuration; streamlined integration and testing; quality control through vigilant project management and communication-enhanced with advanced software tools; it all comes together in a central location-where potential impediments which might impact large scale deployments are largely reduced or eliminated.
The TIS Staging and Configuration Center
Requirements are defined. The project plan is set. The staff at TIS' Staging and Configuration Center stands ready to turn out precisely-packaged systems. The Company's near-100,000-sq ft facility is the industry's showcase for high-volume contract manufacturing in the United States. A model of efficiency and organization, hundreds of thousands of devices pass through the premises annually: tracked, precisely configured, tested, and assembled as complete kits that dramatically reduce on-site installation times.
Communication. Coordination. Collaboration.
Welcome to…eDeploy.™
Effective communication, coordination, and collaboration is vital to the success of large scale deployment projects. It is axiomatic, therefore, that seamless and superior project management is dependent on all project participants - customers, suppliers, and technical teams - having ready access to critical project documentation. TIS uses its proprietary web-based tool, eDeploy, as a central repository for the collection and sharing of all project documents, collateral, and tracking data. In combination with TIS' advanced project management techniques, eDeploy brings process, order, and discipline to complex deployment projects. The upshot: timely, predictable, and quality deployments.
